Who is Rakshit Barma?

That’s easy. I am the guy who sits couple of cubicles away from you. The guy you meet everyday at work – the one behind the desk tripping all day on caffeine – talks a lot, but mostly at the wrong moments – the guy who makes you laugh, well mostly at him – no more fashionable than a Neanderthal and possesses the social skills of a chipmunk – a mad man, yet one out of the ordinary.

Rakshit Barma is just a name – a pen name actually – one behind which the real man hides – a persona that is not just a man but represents everyone like him. If any of the comics seem familiar its because there is a little bit of Rakshit in you. So wear it proudly.

… and remember, YOU are not alone – and this is the proof.

Why did you start this comic?

Heraclitus of Ephesus, the pre-Socratic Greek philosopher was so disgruntled with humanity that he secluded himself to the mountains where he wept at the folly of men – I instead created a comic! Think of it as my creative vent for emotions that I share with Heraclitus. Challenges at work can be overwhelming – unless you figure out a way to take all that pent up emotions and construct something beautiful out of it. This comic blog is my mountain – and I am Democritus, the “laughing philosopher”.
